Here's the artwork for our upcoming instrumental album "Morgana" which will be released as a double CD package with "Sounds From The Obscure", our first album with The Arguido. "Morgana" is the follow up to 2006's "Madhur" and will feature 13 tracks of which a lot have grown into our live classics among the years. People who have seen us play live will recognise tracks like Harmattan, Belly Dance # 6, Lorke Lorke, Paganini and our cover version of the Peruvian Chicha classic Sonido Amazónico.
Our single The Obscure has ended at number 1 in the Free 40 alternative yearchart of 2011.

U bent herkend, mijnheer The Arguido. Een zes songs tellende ep van een Nederlandse surfrockband op leeftijd, The Phantom Four, draagt de titel ‘The Obscure ep’. Het ding staat vol foto’s van liveoptredens waarbij het gezicht van de frontman The Arguido – die nergens in de lyrics vermeld wordt – nooit in beeld komt. Een beetje mysterie kan soms prima werken om mensen te lokken.
Maar vanaf de zanglijnen van openende poprocksong ‘The Obscure’ worden ingezet met een typisch nasaal, hakkend timbre, blijkt dat het hier om Rudeboy gaat. Het boegbeeld van Urban Dance Squad heeft na het uiteenvallen van de band vele projecten in het leven geroepen, waarvan spijtig genoeg niet één de populariteit van de funkrockband uit de jaren ’90 kon evenaren. ‘The Obscure ep’ streeft die ambitie duidelijk niet meer na.
